It is located in the southwest of the Pashupatinath region, east of Gaushala. The open shrine contains a statue of the goddess Astabhuja Bhagwati framed by a carved stone tympanum. Kali is one of the various names of Durga. The sky is considered as the roof in such a pitta shrine. The Durga image of this shrine belongs to 7^th Century A.D
